There's something very wrong with a "health care" system where medical industry profits are put before public health. I've been talking about the corruption of big pharma from time to time since I began this blog. I've quoted the famous American writer Upton Sinclair in this regard many times, here goes again: "It difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it".
This quote is the most generous way possible to understand why this behavior occurs. The inference is well intentioned folks succumb to unconscious bias unknowingly. They believe so strongly they are doing the right thing they are completely unaware their collective behavior is basically unethical, immoral, and possibly even illegal. But one does have to wonder: is the entire industry completely unaware of this? That, friends, would be an impossibility.
Which brings us to the topic of this particular blog post, Dr. Peter McCullough, a medical industry veteran who in addition to being in private practice also happens to be one of the more published medical research scientists of this time. In addition to research he has also personally chaired more drug safety review boards than almost anyone working today. His CV is a mile long...and unassailable.
He is in fact arguably the most qualified doctor today to have led the public response to the pandemic, but his voice has been censored from public airwaves, and instead we have doctors leading the charge who are imbedded with big pharma, and who have never personally treated covid patients themselves.
So we have to wonder - how unaware is the medical industry as a whole that profits have been put before public health, and even before lives?
Dr. McCullough is a very courageous individual indeed to be speaking out about how the pandemic was (and is) being handled. Why would he do this, going against standard of practices as recommended by the Big P controlled medical establishment? Are you familiar with the term "a bridge too far?" Perhaps Big P has become egregiously hubristic at this juncture by ordering doctors not do do early treatment, and punishing those that do. All the while knowing early treatment would have kept covid patients out of hospitals, and preventing up to 80% of the death rate that has occurred in many countries.
But McCullough is not the only doctor who is speaking out against this travesty, there are many others who advocate and use EARLY TREATMENT with their covid patients. Some of these ethical and courageous docs have lost their medical licenses to practice, in a few countries have even been jailed.
I'm no fan of trump, but I have to mention him in this context to illustrate a point. When he was sick with covid many (including me) were shocked at how rapidly he recovered. Some of my friends thought the whole thing had to have been faked for some kind of political advantage. Actually the only thing that happened was trump got early treatment with a cocktail of off patent drugs that were known to reverse covid rapidly and effectively. So obviously SOME DOCTORS KNEW the safety and efficacy of early treatment with INEXPENSIVE and WIDELY AVAILABLE drugs.
