Dr. Graham Reacts: Is VARIETY Really That Important?

There are various ways an exclusively raw exclusively vegan diet can go. The only one of them that works long term (to the best of my knowledge) is laid out in Dr. Graham's book The 80/10/10 Diet.

Why should we care about an exclusively raw exclusively vegan diet if only one way of doing it actually works? Because the more we can incorporate "cause of health" behaviors into our lives the better we feel, the more energy we have, the more apt we are to "automagically" go to our own ideal weight and stay there, and certainly not least, the more apt we are to reverse any and all negative health conditions and chronic diseases.

Doug Graham talks about "the cause of health" all the time. His web site "FoodNSport.com" in fact has the subtitle "defining the cause of health". And if you think about it, focusing on the cause of health (as opposed to the cause of disease) is a MUCH more functional way to live.

I'm not here to say there's only one way of doing things that work. We all have to follow our own "star". Most of us will not become exclusively raw and exclusively vegan. But the point of view of those that follow that path for decades while achieving very high levels of health, and even very high levels of athleticism, can be quite instructive.

Some common sense from Dr. Graham, in a 6 minute video:
