Additional aspects of the pandemic that have become increasingly obvious

NIH and BigP are essentially two aspects of one body. That this body has become so incredibly corrupt is appalling.

Were these men acting in good faith and with good intentions? In their minds, perhaps. 

Or perhaps they were in such a state of panic that their involvement in gain of function research, and the lab leak that they had already surmised was responsible for the pandemic, would be made public, and their careers and reputations destroyed.

Public developments appear to be headed toward the latter outcome. Powerful forces with a lot of wealth continue to protect them however.

The expression the path to hell is paved with good intentions comes to mind.
