Perhaps the simplest variation is one meal a day. The first question one may (understandably) have is "how do I get enough energy eating just one meal a day?" In fact, if we consume sufficient calories and nutrition in that meal, we will have more energy, not less. Therein lies the "secret" of increased health through intermittent fasting.
