Excess deaths debate 16 January - British Parliament

Excess deaths caused by heart disease are up around the world. Deaths from covid virus are down, and are not thought to be the cause of these excess deaths. Excess deaths are defined as being above the five year average.

Governments have so far apparently not commissioned studies to get at the cause of the problem, but many doctors and medical researchers have been vocal for the need of such studies. How else do we correct for mistakes if we do not learn what they were?

It seems possible these excess deaths are caused by some aspect of how the pandemic was handled, and if so governments would be seen to be responsible. Could this be the reason these excess deaths are not discussed in mainstream media, and have not been commissioned by governments?

And I note: Dr Aseem Malhotra, a prominent British cardiologist and health crusader, can be seen among the public audience at this debate.
